If one’s memory loss or dementia prevents them from living safely on their own, it is time for memory care. You can sense it is time when you see changes in behavior, like increased agitation or unsafe confusion or disorientation like wandering leading to safety concerns. If there is a decline in physical health or hygiene, like being unable to bathe themselves or incontinence it is time. A disruption in Caregiving or family dynamics may also tell us it is time.
