It’s worth noting that there are plenty of younger people on board, which adds to the lively atmosphere. Overall, the vibe is youthful, no matter the age of the sailors (fellow travelers).
There are so many areas and activities to enjoy on board—from playing chess on deck to working out at the gym, savoring fabulous dinners, and attending great parties, especially Scarlet Night (bring red clothes for that; you’ll be glad you did!).
What stood out for us was the friendly and personable crew, who felt like fellow travelers. I even had the pleasure of dancing my heart out with one of the entertainment crew at the Scarlet Night pool party.
There are no “seatings” for dinner. You can make a reservation through the VV app and book a convenient time slot, with dinner times spanning a good chunk of the evening.
There is no buffet line! Instead, there is a food court where you can order from a wide variety of options and choose to take it to go or eat it there with a great view of the ocean.
There is LATE checkout, which is wonderful if, like me, you don’t like getting up at the crack of dawn on debarkation day.
There is always a place or an event to suit anyone’s mood. And speaking of moods, did you notice the vibe we set in our cabin? 🙂
