#211- Misti Gaither: True Crime and the Paranormal | A Psychic's Journey to Connect Living and the Dead

  1. #211- Misti Gaither: True Crime and the Paranormal | A Psychic's Journey to Connect Living and the Dead Jackson Huff 47:50

This week, I’m thrilled to have Misti Gaither, a psychic medium and paranormal investigator, join us on the show! She shares her experiences from the worlds of true crime and the paranormal and her quest to connect the living with the dead. Here are some of things that we had discussed:

  • Misty shared how she had psychic abilities since a young age, but was raised in a very religious household where these abilities were seen as “demonic”
  • Misty believes everyone has some level of psychic ability, whether it’s called “intuition” or something else
  • Misty sees a connection between true crime cases and the paranormal, believing psychic abilities could potentially help solve some unsolved crimes
  • Misty sees herself as being on a “journey” to learn more about true crime and the paranormal, rather than claiming to be an expert
  • Misty believes law enforcement should be more open-minded to using psychic mediums, but acknowledges the need for them to be vetted and reputable
  • Misty sees her podcast “Quest” as a “journey” to learn more about true crime and the paranormal, rather than claiming to be an expert

I am in admissions and advising by profession where I speak with students every day about their future and goals. I have spent a decade learning peoples life stories and what makes them tick. So, a few years ago I decided to take that passion for people and make a podcast. Through this I have been able to speak with a lot of amazing people. People like Bob Eubanks (The Newlywed Game), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), Maddie Musselman (2x Olympic Gold Medalist), Francois Clemmons (Mister Rogers' Neighborhood), and countless others.
