Jackson Huff Podcaster

I am in admissions and advising by profession where I speak with students every day about their future and goals. I have spent a decade learning peoples life stories and what makes them tick. So, a few years ago I decided to take that passion for people and make a podcast. Through this I have been able to speak with a lot of amazing people. People like Bob Eubanks (The Newlywed Game), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), Maddie Musselman (2x Olympic Gold Medalist), Francois Clemmons (Mister Rogers' Neighborhood), and countless others.

I have spoken with swimmers before, but none quite like Leonie Beck. This German swimmer takes us into the oceans and lakes of a sport called open water swimming where the lanes are undefined and the fight to get around each buoy is a fight between the 40 competitors in the water. She tells us why she went into this particular type of swimming, her experiences in the last two Olympic Games, competing for Germany, and why she is now training with the Italian National Team. This is a fun one with someone who has only gotten BIGGER since our conversation was recorded._____________________________…

This week we travel from renaissance fair's to cruise ships to theater's across the country with contortionist/entertainer Leah Orleans. She tells us about growing in a performing family and her start in contortion at 9 years old. We also talk about her time in circus school and what it is like touring the country performing this back bending, whip lashing, arrow shooting with her feet routine. She might be small, but she is certainly mighty as the Tiny Girl Big Show is one you will not want to miss if it is coming to a town near you!_____________________________________Tiny Girl Big Show webs…
