Embracing Solopreneurship: A Guide for Baby Boomers
In the sunset years, Baby Boomers have a unique opportunity to leverage their wealth of experience into a fulfilling second career. Solopreneurship, the act of establishing and operating a business single-handedly as a solopreneur, is a growing trend among Baby Boomers.
The pursuit of solopreneurship allows Baby Boomers to utilize their years of professional knowledge, skills and networks. It also provides them with a chance to explore new interests and passions that may not have been possible during their traditional working years. In this section, we give you insight into being a solopreneur, whether you are an introvert, extrovert, previously a successful corporate executive, or finally deciding to turn your hobby into a business.
Furthermore, solopreneurship offers a sense of autonomy and control over one’s schedule, something that is highly appreciated in the Retirement years. With the right planning and resources, becoming a solopreneur can be a profitable and satisfying endeavor for Baby Boomers.
