Beth Elkassih, a best-selling author, is the creator of the professional blog, “Made You Smile Back” (https://madeyousmileback.com) which was created in October 2018.
Beth prides herself being a proactive ‘Mental Health advocate’ and became a Certified Facilitator for NAMI (National Association of Mental Illness) of Tarrant County Texas. She is also an Author of ‘The Power of Unexpected Miracles’ which ended up being a Best Seller on Amazon in 2 categories and an International Best Seller in Australia, United Kingdom and Canada in 2019.
In addition, she is the author of 3 journals and the creator of the growing Facebook Group, Achieving Happiness. Beth also is a licensed Realtor for the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. And just recently became a certified Happiness Life Coach and Motivational Speaker.

‘I Just Want To Be Happy Again’ was published in March 2021 and written in response to the overwhelming feedback received from readers all around the world. It is a collection of 14 of the most popular ‘blog posts’ from ‘Made You Smile Back’. The various topics center around how one can ‘find themselves again while facing everyday life struggles’ in achieving happiness and joy once again in their lives.
Previously Beth attended Truman University in Kirksville MO and Michigan State University in Business Administration studies from 1975-1979. She has held many positions including being a legal secretary, systems consultant, corporate software trainer and a customer service manager.
Beth is currently married and has three daughters and lives in Arlington, TX.
Beth is a survivor of acute post-partum Depression. As an avid Mental Health awareness advocate, Beth’s vision of “Made You Smile Back’ is to be an inviting place for those struggling with their own happiness, as a valuable resource in helping them ‘get their smile back’. It is her hope to present a non-judgment platform where all of us can become an active community who make a difference online to others and do our part in eliminating the ‘stigma’ of mental illness.
Beth is a proactive member of (NAMI) National Alliance of Mental Illness of Tarrant County, Texas and became a certified ‘Facilitator’ for Family to Family Group Support.
