If you have embarked on a path of small business ownership, like many others, you probably had this fantasy of being your own boss and enjoying all the freedom that being your own boss would surely provide. You thought you'd build some workshops and people would sign up. You would create a podcast and people would listen. You would be the master of your calendar and in turn, have lots of free time. Does this sound familiar? If so, you are not alone. As a matter of fact, all of this was really what Jennifer Furlong believed when she decided to create Communication TwentyFourSeven. It can all be overwhelming What is a rookie business owner to do?

Meet Thomas Wu, the pack leader at Koyoti, Inc., a full-service marketing agency. Thomas is a brand strategist and marketing expert with over 20 years of experience, but even more importantly, his work with Small Businesses combined with his experience as a small business owner provides him with a deeper understanding of what small business owners need. About a year and a half ago, he decided to go beyond his own comfort zone and created the Koyoti Small Business Podcast where he talks about a variety of challenges that come along with small business ownership like social media marketing, bookkeeping, Mental Health, and communication.

Listen as Jennifer and Thomas discuss entrepreneurial life, the importance of relationship building, and why Thomas is so dedicated to helping other small business owners tackle the scarcity of resources.
