Stay tuned for an all denim week next week, so I tried to wear all the other things this week. Lately, I’ve been pulling out random pieces from years ago and seeing how I can put them together in different ways. What do you think?
Signing up for emails gives you a daily dose of positivity. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits about what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.
SATURDAY
I don’t order much clothing on Amazon, but this dress from 2021 (worn with heels) was a good one. It’s still available for under $30 in a myriad of colors.
The ruching makes it more forgiving for lumps and bumps and the tulip hemline makes it interesting.
I added my favorite jacket from Just Be Youtiful. I think she still has some in stock. It’s lightweight and is perfect for spring. Use code JTOUCH15.
The age-old mules are from Walking Cradles, now Ros. They don’t have the same style anymore, but these sneakers are similar.
And I wore this Katia necklace with a “J” on it.
Ready for errands and then a date night.
SUNDAY
This jumpsuit is one that is incredibly versatile. I’ve shown it styled as a dress last summer in this video. (Funny that I wore the same glasses and earrings in that video–see, even I get into ruts).
Today, I wore it as a jumpsuit, but tied the front ties around my neck, and the back ties around my waist.
Confession: It was too hard to undo both ties for bathroom breaks, so I just pulled one of the legs to the side to go. Just like I do for one-piece swimsuits.
Extras:
-Clip-on earring at the “v”
-White sheer socks
-Turquoise and white bracelet (more obvious in the title photo)
-Statement gold earrings
-Pink toppers on Pair glasses
-Pink beret
MONDAY
I’ve become a tad obsessed with the idea of layering dresses…I know, I know, get over it, Jodie.
But there was one on Pinterest that gave me the inspiration for this outfit.
The striped dress is from eShakti (boy, do I miss that site) and the top dress is a thrifted Zara dress.
I accessorized with turquoise accents:
-Shoes (used to be my besties)
-Rings
-Earrings
-Glasses
-Clip-on earring at “v” of top dress
The last time I wore this striped dress, I paired it with turquoise too. I need to try another accent color next time.
TUESDAY
Today’s outfit was inspired by this new pair of Cariuma sneakers offered to me as a gift from one of my affiliate programs. I decided to try out the leather sneakers instead of the canvas ones (which I have 5 different pairs of already).
Insider note: The leather Cariuma sneakers are much roomier and bigger. I ordered the same size as my canvas ones, but they are noticeably bigger even when holding them up to one another.
I went with an all-blue and white (sorta) look by wearing print pants (worn with 4 different types of tops long ago), a thrifted chambray shirt, a raffia belt, and blue pearl sheer socks.
WEDNESDAY
I must be on a blue-and-white print kick, eh? I’ve had this skirt for ages (worn in the past with purple) and since I had to give a urine sample today, I thought a skirt was the perfect choice of clothing to wear.
Instead of matching the skirt like I did yesterday to the pants, I wore this fuzzy, wuzzy sweater (from Just Be Youtiful) instead.
It’s many sizes bigger than I normally wear but I knew I could find ways to wear it. You’ll see a video of how I made it smaller soon.
Then I wore these adorable Vivaia mules (cute but NOT comfy) and a statement necklace (you’ve seen it worn backward).
The necklace is not exactly the same color but I think it mirrors the effect of the print of the skirt.
THURSDAY we took photos for the blog. Want a preview?? You can see my outfit on TT (and make sure to follow me there.)
FRIDAY
After all the negative comments on my FB video saying I shouldn’t pair red and pink together, I thought I would push the limit and pair orange and red.
The thing is, when I put the red vest with the orangey striped pants, it was like they were made to go together.
It was an interesting lesson on how colors can change.
I wore black and white heels because I was taking my mom to a doctor’s appointment, and then I accessorized with this black and white “girl” as a necklace, held in place with a magnet only.
My goal with my daily looks post is to find things that help inspire you with my daily outfits and to bring a smile and kindness to your life. I truly think that clothing is our way to express our personality visually.
