Considering it was Valentine’s week, I didn’t even wear red or pink every day. But I had to include the face photo of the 2 of us since it’s our 21st anniversary. You should pop over to see Rob’s outfit on Valentine’s Day. He was SO dapper.
I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.
SUNDAY
I had this purple velvet top out and decided to wear it as a skirt. You can see it as a top in this TT video.
The sleeves are held together with a knot and also a magnet.
Then I wore a thin mustard sweater and this fringy vest but upside down as a shawl.
I wore the vest normally years ago.
Finished off the look with OTK tan boots and purplish accessories.
BTW, I am wearing a pair of lacey shorts under the skirt since it is so short.
MONDAY
This outfit was inspired by Valerie to find colors to pair with brown. I thought this lime green and white sweater went perfectly.
It was warm, warm, warm today which was fabulous. AND we were off to Reclectic for shopping so wearing a skirt like this was ideal because they don’t have fitting rooms.
I found this faux leather jumper when thrifting when we were in San Diego and the sweater is from Just Be Youtiful.
The sneakers were thrifted, and then I wore a bunch of delicate gold necklaces.
TUESDAY
We are off to a photo shoot for Easy Spirit and their limited edition Romy Walking Sneakers (I’ll showcase them soon).
I wore these cute sheer floral socks, gold flats, and my cuffed jeans (that I thrifted and cuffed myself).
Yes, the jeans are lower-rise than what’s trendy, but that doesn’t bother me.
The sneakers will be red for Heart Health so I wore my hand-knitted shawl (although I ended up buttoning the last one instead of the first one so it’s a v-neck).
Yes, it’s two-toned red because I didn’t have enough yarn once I started knitting. That’s typical for many of my projects.
We were told to wear a white t-shirt, but I only had a short sleeve one washed. Therefore, I wore a white Halftee turtleneck under it.
WEDNESDAY
My friend, Catherine, brought me this pink fringe piece from Eva Varro (here is Catherine wearing it) and I was excited to wear it. I layered it over this Cabi black sweater dress that Lesley gave me.
Then, I added the thrifted pink cowboy boots and statement earrings.
We are off to massages today, so I wanted clothing that was easy on/easy off.
THURSDAY
We were off to a Galentine’s party today. After these photos, I realized that my belt was too big, so I used my handy dandy hole puncher to make it more snug.
I won this dress in an Izabel London giveaway. Even though it’s not pink or red, I figured the sequins made it celebration-worthy.
I added this cropped, vintage furry jacket that my mom and I dyed grey…it was originally beige.
My faux hair bun is wrapped with a scarf and I wore my snakeskin boots.
BTW, I’m holding the dress together at the cleavage with an earring.
FRIDAY
Too much? That describes me to a tee, so I might as well dress that way.
Catherine gave me this sweater for our anniversary and the purse for Galentine’s Day, so I was set with hearts.
The bright pink pants were thrifted and of course, I’m wearing my LOVE earrings that are a steal on Amazon.
The pink hat is from Just Be Youtiful as well as the heart necklace.
We are off to have lunch at Valentine’s…a place established on Valentine’s Day with an eclectic SW flair.
