Oscar Mike Radio – 432 – Every Day is a Saturday

  1. Oscar Mike Radio - 432 - Every Day is a Saturday Oscar Mike Radio 1:05:23

I welcome fellow Marine veteran and podcaster Brian Roof, who hosts “Every Day’s a Saturday.” Bryan and I met through David Willis Jr.’s (who is a Marine Corps Veteran) Tip of the Spear Veterans’ group.

The discussion centers on our shared Marine Corps experiences, emphasizing the year’s theme, “more is more.” Brian recounts his journey into the Marines, boot camp challenges, and the camaraderie formed. We wanted to highlight the importance of veteran storytelling for preserving history and fostering connections. Brian also shares his post-service struggles and how podcasting became a therapeutic outlet. The episode underscores the value of shared experiences and support within the veteran community.

This is an exciting time to be storyteller, content creator and Veterans’ Advocate. Please check out Bryan’s website (https://edasusmcvet.com/). Every Day is a Saturday. Thank you Bryan for talking with me. Semper Fidelis.
