Young Mountain Tea, with a valuation of $4.5 million, is raising funds on . The company is redefining the tea trade by sharing ownership with farmers and bridging the gap between tea growers and tea drinkers. Young Mountain Tea collaborates with farmers to improve tea quality, revitalizes wastelands, and creates a transparent supply chain that brings certified organic, single-origin teas in sustainable packaging to the market.

The company, founded by Adhiraj Murthy Vable in January 2022, has launched a farmer-owned processing facility in the Himalayas in partnership with USAID, Acumen, and others. It has secured sales contracts with Fortune 500 companies and a national distributor and has been featured in Forbes and Food Industry Executive. Additionally, 1% of sales are donated to farmers, aligning with its mission to create rural jobs, combat land degradation, and address climate change.

The Cumin Club, with a valuation of $20.11 million, is raising funds on . The company reimagines Indian cuisine by offering 5-minute meal kits and scalable fast-casual restaurant concepts that bring authentic Indian flavors to a diverse audience. Using high-quality, all-natural ingredients and innovative freeze-drying Technology, The Cumin Club preserves the taste and nutrition of traditional Indian dishes while eliminating the need for additives or preservatives.

Founded in 2019 by Kiru Rajagopal, Ragoth Bala, and Harish Visweswaran, The Cumin Club has served over 1.8 million meals and generated $10 million in lifetime revenue, closing 2023 with $3.6 million in revenue. The Open Road, with a history of nearly five years, is raising funds on Honeycomb Credit. Known as the country’s oldest specialty retailer dedicated to adult non-alcoholic beverages, The Open Road operates a non-alcoholic bottle shop and bar in Pittsburgh, PA. The business has achieved over 150% year-over-year sales Growth, been featured in over 25 national and local press publications, and earned accolades such as CityPaper’s Best of PGH awards for Best Beer Distributor (2024) and Best Mocktails (2023).

Owned by Mel Babitz, The Open Road is womxn, neurodivergent, and LGBTQ+ owned and operated, emphasizing sustainable and eco-friendly practices.
