Daily Looks: Week Ending 3.14.25

Sometimes after taking photos and evaluating them, I change things up. For instance, in the above photo, I took off the brooch. And with Tuesday’s outfit. I replaced the orange brooch with a pearl clip-on earring. Wanna see the video??

I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

SATURDAY

I wanted to play with layering a vest over a jacket, and I did, but it’s not the focal point.

This button-up lightweight sweater dress is from Just Be Youtiful and felt a tad low in the cleavage area.
So I took this recently thrifted scarf (which I wore last week in my hair) and threaded it through the top button.

I just love how it added color and an interesting focal point.

I wore leopard print booties and a leopard print bucket hat (thanks Mo) as well as my new earrings (found here for $10).

After these photos, I did remove the brooch.

SUNDAY

The sweater and vest are from the clothing rental site I tried out for a free month, so you won’t recognize them. But I love the idea of pairing them together even though they aren’t the same colors.

When you have a sweater with poof sleeves, and still want to layer, vests are the best idea.

Then I wore these sweater shorts that I’ve had for a couple of years. I even wore them for a casual Easter outfit last year.

The boots I’ve had for ages. You may have thought that riding boots went out of style, but I saw them more and more this winter and I bet they’ll be back soon. I won these in a giveaway and have worn them multiple ways. One of my faves is with a girly dress.

MONDAY

Another 2 tops from the clothing rental company that I just finished for my free month. I love how these two tops went together so well.

Then I found these silver jeans at Target in the girls’ section for under $10. I have a skinny pair that I love so I thought it would be good to have a wider leg version.

I went with the lime green with my shoes and glasses and then wore silver earrings and that cool bendable necklace that I’ve had for ages. I might need a gold one now.

TUESDAY

With St. Paddy’s Day around the corner, I figured it was the perfect time to break out these green pants. I’ve had them for about 10 years and styled them back in 2016 when we discussed brooches.

Then I wore this 2 piece sweater set that I purchased at a local boutique. It’s something I could probably knit, but it would take a long time.

I did that trick with the pearl necklace and scarf to make it look like a tie, and then since I wore white sneakers, I bookmarked the lighter color with a white fedora.

WEDNESDAY

After we showcased the idea of layering dresses, I’ve been wanting to try more options. I have used this brown sleeveless shirtdress for more creative ideas with layering pieces in the past.

This type of sleeveless shirt dress can be such a wonderful layering tool, which is why I found a bunch of others for you below in the widget.

Because my hair is a mess, I wore this beret (from Just Be Youtiful), and because of that, I wore sneakers and a brooch with those same colors.

NOTICE Annabelle wanted to be part of the action. She’s showing off her cute behind.

FRIDAY

Since I have a ton of denim jeans yet don’t wear them much, I pulled out this pair that has become one of my faves from our trip to Idaho last summer.
I consider them a fabulous buy, and they are still available for under $30 in limited sizes.

I explained in this video how to add fun to a dark denim jeans look.

The details:
-Fuzzy tube top (thrifted)
-Lilac and lime green cardigan with fuzzy collar ($1)
-Colorful sneakers (thrifted)
-Sparkly belt (thrifted)
-Matching frames (Pair eyewear, article here)
-You should see the rings (both from Just Be Youtiful)
