Dr. Rose Joudi (Ph.D. Psych.) is a prominent researcher, consultant, and international speaker specializing in Aging and ethnic diversity. She leads an ethnocultural elder abuse awareness project with Carya (Calgary, AB) and teaches the Psychology of Aging at Mount Royal University. With extensive academic and research experience, Dr. Joudi addresses the unique needs of older adults in diverse populations. She promotes educational strategies on elder abuse awareness, ageism, Trauma-informed care, cultural competence, and compassion. Formerly a board member of the Canadian Network for Prevention of Elder Abuse, she currently serves on the Alberta Association on Gerontology (AAG) board and advises Alberta’s Ministry of Seniors, Community, and Social Services.
