Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations for Women Over 50
I’ve never shared my Sephora VIB sale recommendations before because I didn’t quite understand the draw of the sale. However, it’s referred to as the Superbowl of Beauty Savings, and now I get it. Because if you use a lot of different brands of items, it can be the best way to save Money.

Here’s how I look at it. Sure, sometimes a brand has a fabulous sale that could even be better than the Sephora sale, yet the other factor is adding in any shipping costs. So when you have more items that you are ordering, your shipping charge is less per item.
And when you like various brands, it’s more convenient to shop this way. It only took me 50 years to figure this out, haha.
The caveat to this sale is that you have to sign up to be a Sephora Insider member. But since that is free, it’s easy to do. Just sign up here and you even get rewards to use in your birthday month.

Clean Fragrances
Now that I’ve discovered non-toxic fragrances it’s nice to be able to change up my scent from day to day. I was impressed that I found quite a few clean fragrances for my Sephora VIP sale recommendations.
The two that stood out to me are this Floral Street brand that I’ve tried in the past. It’s nice to get the Discovery set so you can try out a variety of different smells.
The other brand I’ve heard good things about is The 7 Virtues, and both are reasonably priced.
These kinds of sets are also a wonderful holiday gift for someone on your list.
Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations For Hair Serums
Since I’ve struggled with my hair for the last couple of years, I was interested to see if I could find great hair items in my Sephora VIB sale recommendations.
I am definitely going to be purchasing the Bumble and Bumble heat primer after my friend, Cathie, gave me a sample to try. I don’t just use it before blowing dry my hair, but it’s also great to tame flyaways and frizzies. And it’s not too heavy for my fine hair. Notice that it comes in 2 sizes.
The other product that is on my list is Nutrafol. I have a good friend who swears by it, so I may try both the hair serum and the supplements. (It is pricey which is why it’s good to take advantage of the sale).
Gifts For You & Others
Since the holidays are right around the corner, this is the perfect time to think about gift sets that you could get for others (okay, okay, and maybe one for you too). There are a ton of great options that could be great for that hard-to-buy person. Heck, there’s even a bunch that are categorized for HIM (except I laughed at some of the options).
The Sephora Favorites set gives you seven mini-size luxury products that any female would love.
Then the Advent Calendar is one of those gifts that just keeps giving, all December long. (Who remembers advent calendars from their childhood? I always loved the chocolate ones).
Minis: To Try or Travel
Products that are packaged in smaller quantities are ideal not just for Travel but also to try out something that you’re not sure about.
In fact, that Bumble and Bumble hair protectant that I was talking about above comes as a mini-size product.
The other products I love for my Sephora VIB sale recommendations are Paula’s Choice exfoliant which I use daily, and Ilia’s mascara. Ilia is a clean beauty company that also touts its sustainability.
Sephora Collection Under $20
As a budget-oriented person, I love being able to find products that are under $20. Sephora has its own brand of all kinds of makeup and beauty products. I read both good and bad reviews on their brand of makeup, so I decided to highlight items that wouldn’t be so controversial among other brands of items that are under $20.
One of those items is the facial roller, which if you’ve been getting my emails, then you might remember that I’ve shared some videos on how to use these to keep our face smoother.
The other product I always like to get as a deal is makeup sponges. I liked this option because you get 4 sponges in 2 different sizes.

Can I Return Things from Sephora?
I know I was surprised that makeup and beauty products could be returned, but it makes buying new things less risky.
This is Sephora’s wording on their site: “If you are not completely satisfied with a Sephora purchase or gift for any reason, Sephora welcomes you to return new or gently used products for a full refund to your original method of payment if returned within 30 days of purchase, in most cases. Returns that are made from 31-60 days after purchase are eligible for online credit (if returned to us by mail) or store credit (if returned in-store). In order to complete the return, you must have a proof of purchase.”
