Beautiful Casual Easter Outfits
It’s no secret that society has become casual when it comes to clothing and Easter looks are no exception. While in real life, my crew LOVES to dress up, we thought it might be helpful to showcase some beautiful casual Easter outfits.
Quote of the day: “When someone tells me ‘no,’ it doesn’t mean I can’t do it, it simply means I can’t do it with them.” Karen E. Quinones Miller
Everyone has different ways they spend the Easter holiday so you might need a variety of Easter outfits depending on your agenda.
My style has changed significantly for my Easter outfits just for the fact that we are living in Arizona now. When we were in Colorado, there would likely be snow to contend with, so I was always thinking about layering.
In our environment now, we can enjoy warmer temperatures and even have bare legs. (I’m not the only one who thinks this way. Wait until you see what Lesley said).
For our casual Easter outfits, I’m showcasing them from least covered to most covered. Yet these can all be tailored to different weather forecasts which I will give insight into.
We have shown other ways to dress for Easter and these spring holidays if you want a variety of looks.
Cathie-Shorts and Sandals
Cathie had a friend ask her for ideas for wearing shorts and dressing casually for Easter outfit looks. It goes to show that this idea is on other people’s minds too.
Cathie went full-on enjoying the warm temperatures with not only shorts but also sandals. Her top is lightweight yet I consider it more upscale than a t-shirt.
And this bright blue for the shorts is so stunning.
Then she also included a straw purse which conjures up spring vibes for everyone.
Insider tip: Notice that Cathie’s clothing items are all thrifted. You can find fabulous things secondhand.
If you don’t have great thrift stores near you, consider online thrift stores. I have a list of the ones I use at the end of this article.
How to wear this for colder temperatures
Truthfully, this look isn’t easy to change up for colder temperatures and keep it minimal. But I would say to add a sweater over the blouse and switch out the shorts for pants. The sandals might need to be substituted with booties but I would stick with the straw purse and colorful earrings.

Jodie-Shorts & Boots
I have decided Spring and Fall are the perfect time to wear shorts and boots together. The taller boots give more coverage than shorts and sandals. In a way, it’s like cropped pants except a different part of you is exposed.
I layered this bright-colored vest over a sweatshirt. Some sweatshirts are indistinguishable from normal tops because of their print. You get the casualness of the material but it looks better than gym wear.
All the young kids wear their sling bags everywhere, and I found this one on Amazon that is purely economical plus big enough for all my stuff including my phone.

You could easily add tights to a look like this. And then hide many layers under the sweatshirt and fleece socks in the boots.
Switch out the straw hat for a beanie or felt hat and you’re good to go.
Lesley: Cropped Pants for Casual Easter Outfits
You have to give a round of applause for Lesley’s print mixing. Her cropped pants material are polka dots and her cardigan is the same colorway but with a paisley floral print.
She grounded the look with black and her ballet flats are not only classic but now trending.
I laughed when I read Lesley’s quip regarding her Easter outfit. She said, “Of course, Easter calls for a bonnet. It’s nice to live in Arizona where I can wear spring clothing for Easter as opposed to boots and a jacket in Colorado.”
Even though we have been here in Arizona for over 5 years, it’s hard to forget how it used to be for spring if you lived in another place.
How to wear this for colder temperatures
You could wear this same foundation and switch out the shoes with mid-high boots for more warmth. Then you might add a heavier cardigan, a coat, or even a turtleneck under the top if it’s chilly.
But don’t get rid of the white purse…it gives off a great spring vibe that is perfect for casual Easter outfits.
Charlotte-Jeans & a Sweatshirt
Color is such an essential part of any Easter outfit, so my mom wore orchid-colored jeans and a tie-dye sweatshirt. Her first thought about color for this prompt was pastels, which is why she chose this sweatshirt. But I love how she contrasted it with the brighter jeans.
The mock turtleneck under the sweatshirt is sleeveless for our mild temperatures.
Then she even incorporated print mixing too with her shoes. I love how my mom and Lesley have embraced this detail since neither of them was brought up mixing prints in their outfits.
How to wear this for colder temperatures
I think Charlotte’s outfit is the easiest to imagine wearing if it’s cold outside as one of these casual Easter outfits.
With jeans and a sweatshirt, you can easily layer all kinds of warmer items under it, and even add your favorite ankle boots if it’s snowing.
Then throw on a puffer jacket and you’re ready for the day’s activities.
