As we gear up for the Impact Cherub Club’s meeting at 1:00 PM Eastern on March 18, we invite you to join us. The club meets to review impact investments that everyone is eligible to make and virtually anyone can afford. We share responsibility for completing basic due diligence before making investments. While members are encouraged to invest in the Club’s picks, no one is required to do so.

The Club is open to all “Impact Members” of the SuperCrowd (our paying subscribers). I don’t touch the Money members invest. They do so directly for their own accounts. We benefit from new members by the fresh perspectives they bring and our growing social impact. Please join us!

Next Meeting—March 18, at 1:00 PM Eastern

At our next meeting on March 18, at 1:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM Pacific, consistent with our plans for future sessions, the agenda will have three items:

  • Diligence Reports

  • Post-Mortem Analysis

  • Preliminary Consideration of New Candidate Investments

I’ll review those items in reverse order.

New Company Consideration

After some preliminary screening, I’ve shared some candidate offerings with the members of the club to choose which we’ll review this month. Members chose the following:

Mynt Systems’ West Sacramento EV Rechargerie

Project Image

The West Sacramento EV Rechargerie, developed by Mynt Systems, aims to install 10 hyper-fast electric vehicle charging stations in West Sacramento, serving over 100,000 daily drivers on a popular California route. Partnering with Quick Quack, known for eco-friendly practices like reclaiming 99% of wash water, the project seeks to reduce range Anxiety and promote sustainability. It’s projected to offset 11,400 tons of CO₂ annually, equivalent to removing 1.2 million gallons of gasoline. The initiative has secured a $550,000 CALeVIP Rebate. Mynt is raising on Climatize.

PRIMO Health Partners

Company Image

PRIMO Health Partners is a virtual healthcare provider offering subscription-based access to urgent, primary, and specialty care services. Leveraging their AI platform, TREND AI, they unify medical records in real-time to enhance patient care. Founded in November 2021 by CEO William Cooper, the company has achieved $500,000 in annual revenue with a 68% gross margin. Currently, PRIMO is raising funds on StartEngine at a $10 million pre-money valuation, with a minimum investment of $100. The proceeds aim to support inventory, research and development, and staffing. This investment offers an opportunity to participate in the growing telehealth sector.

Post-Mortem Analysis

In the Impact Cherub Club, we conduct a post-mortem analysis after an investment reaches its conclusion—whether through repayment, acquisition, or business closure. We revisit our original due diligence, comparing expectations with actual outcomes to identify what we got right and where we miscalculated. By analyzing financial performance, impact execution, and unforeseen risks, we refine our investment approach, improving our ability to assess future opportunities. This disciplined review process helps us evolve as impact investors, strengthening our ability to balance financial returns with meaningful social and environmental impact while learning from both successes and setbacks.

Diligence Reports

We’ll begin with the due diligence reports from the Impact Cherub Club members who volunteered to research the companies after we briefly learned a bit about them last month. After hearing the members’ reports, we’ll vote to determine whether or not to recommend investment in the companies. The decision will be made available to all Impact Cherub Club members, including those who don’t attend this month. Register here.

Here is the company we’ll learn more about this month:

Rubitection

Rubitection is pioneering a skin health management platform designed to aid caregivers in assessing and managing chronic wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers and bedsores. Their innovative solution combines a patented, low-cost handheld optical probe with a mobile app, utilizing optical Technology and AI algorithms to detect early signs of skin inflammation. This approach aims to improve patient care by enabling early intervention, reducing healthcare costs, and addressing health disparities, particularly for individuals with darker skin tones. With a functional prototype and initial positive patient data, Rubitection is poised to become the standard of care in chronic wound management across various settings. The company is raising on Wefunder.
