Happy Valentine’s Day
Best wishes to you and your loved ones on this day to celebrate Relationships.
I hope if your budget is tight that you have figured out inexpensive ways to celebrate. Although it’s estimated that Valentine’s Day spending for 2023 is estimated to be $192.80 per person celebrating, about a third of people plan to give an experience this year. Maybe that’s why the estimated spending is so high – tickets to concerts and sporting events continue to climb.
If your single, take time to celebrate love for yourself and your friends and family. You don’t need to be in a relationship to be happy.
To celebrate, I’m going to make some gluten-free brownies. I’m enrolled in the Dean Ornish heart health program. It’s a plant based, low fat Diet. It also emphasizes keeping sugar consumption low.
I bought the brownies before I started the program, so today is a good day to get rid of them. I’ll eat one or two, then freeze the rest.
For years, I’ve eaten just one dessert a week; during the pandemic, I upped it to two.
Limiting your desserts is a good health practice. Just have one serving and freeze the rest.
Love to you and your loved ones on this special day.
My mom loved flamingos, so this photo reminds me of her and her love for me and our family.
