Online Movement and Wellness Classes
January is always such an important time for us to be thinking about continuing our wellness journey and engaging in activities that inspire, connect and empower us. At the Greenwell Center we have our in-person classes and we have our online classes. Check out what you can access from your own home…
Tuesday – Movement Made Easy!
Our Movement Made Easy class has a very special formula for creating the space for change to happen with ease and flow. We offer musical intuitive opportunities with guest musicians. And, we create a group that is devoted to healing and supporting each other.
Our next session will be focusing on “The Habits that Create Wellness in our Day.”
Class will be Tuesdays from 12 pm to 1 pm Atlantic. Jan 7 – Feb 25.
The cost is $80 plus tax for 8 weeks.
Wednesday, Touch for Health Level 2 begins…
Develop more skills with 14 more muscles from the organ systems. This level advances the Level 1 skills, and begins to develop skills with the Ko and Shen Cycle from the Five Element Theory in traditional Chinese Medicine. The power of providing yourself and your loved ones with a full system balance in just a few short minutes is incredible for your wellness plan. This demonstration is how to do a standing balance. We also work with a massage table to help those with mobility challenges, or for a full session for clients. Class is scheduled based on the students in the class. This week we begin on Wednesday from 4:30 – 6:30 pm Atlantic.
Saturday, Tea with Intention Self-Care Workshop
Are you ready to learn how to gain biofeedback from your body about what kinds of tea, herbs, and foods can bring you energy and vitality? Have you tried some of the Cape Breton Tea Company blends? Learn more about the Five Element Theory from Chinese Medicine and how herbs fit within that framework to revitalize your day or night. You will have the skills to find the perfect blend of herbs for your needs in 2025!
Sunday, Qi YINtegration!
Join us for a special 8 week session as we explore the power of joint mobility to bring a bounce into your day, and a freedom in your heart. With movement, intention, group connection, and explorations of muscle, tendon, bone, joint, and fascia release, this is a gentle nudge to release tension and find calm and peace in the body, mind, and spirit. Class is on Sundays from 4 – 5:15 pm Atlantic, begins on January 12 – March 9. This is a great community to gather with, learn techniques, release the Stress in the body, and empower your joints and skeleton to have more power and agility.

Monday, Tai Chi Cape Breton online or in-person
We gather at the Hillsborough-Glendyer Hall on Mondays for an in-person class from 9 – 10:30 am. This class is open to anyone interested in learning Tai Chi and no experience is necessary. We work with Master Moy Lin Shin’s sets from the 108 Moving Meditation to the Sabre Set. We explore both the seated form and the standing form options. This is the only class that I also provide an online presence with. To register, please send an email to info@greenwellcenter.com. Michelle will get you all set for the class. For those who are a part of the Wine Country Tai Chi Society, you are welcome to join us as well.
Personalized Support
Dr Michelle offers one on one sessions for those wanting to personalize their self-care and have a balancing session to address pain, fatigue, mental fog, emotional drain, Sleep challenges and more.
