Have you struggled, even secretly, with food and suspected that you have an unhealthy relationship with food? Maybe you’ve wasted a lot of time, Money and energy trying different diets and programs, then given up. In today’s podcast, we remind you that you were born with a natural, instinctive relationship with food. This relationship was apparent as a young child when you knew you were hungry and when you were full.

Our guest today, Dr. Michelle May struggled with her relationship with food and body image for nearly 25 years and saw many of her patients struggling with the same pattern. She finally realized that diets made her feel powerless as they gave food all the power. Today, over 20 years later, she can eat what she loves without deprivation or guilt and is passionate about sharing her findings to help others do the same. In this podcast we cover “mindful eating” and four main eating styles.
