Globally, nearly 1 in 3, or 30%, of women have been subjected to physical and/or sexual violence by an intimate partner.

Survivors of domestic violence struggle to voice their experiences in a way that can rise above the often overpowering narrative of their abusers.

The scale of the problem leaves many without support. Human counselors, while passionate and dedicated, could never meet the needs of so many. That’s why the co-founders of Aimee Says decided to explore how to leverage the capabilities of advanced AI to understand and respond to common power and control dynamics seen in abusive Relationships. Their goal was to see if this Technology could offer relevant, empathetic responses to those seeking help.

  • What domestic abuse is and the signs someone is suffering from domestic abuse.

  • Some of the common fears for women who are victims of domestic violence.

  • Common issues for women of domestic violence – i.e., physical, mental, substance abuse, self-harm.
