Use a virtual assistant for playing music and audiobooks

A
lot of seniors love music and reading can they use a virtual assistant to play
music and read audiobooks. here are some examples of commands that seniors can
use to control these features with Alexa:

1.   Playing Music:

a.  
“Alexa,
play music by [artist name]”

b.  
“Alexa,
play [song name]”

c.   
“Alexa,
play some jazz music.”

d.  
“Alexa,
play my playlist.”

2.   Controlling Playback:

a.  
“Alexa,
pause the music.”

b.  
“Alexa,
resume the music.”

c.   
“Alexa,
skip to the next song.”

d.  
“Alexa,
go back to the previous song.”

3.   Setting Volume:

a.  
“Alexa,
turn up the volume.”

b.  
“Alexa,
turn down the volume.”

c.   
“Alexa,
set the volume to [number].”

4.   Reading Audiobooks:

a.  
“Alexa,
read [book name].”

b.  
“Alexa,
read the next chapter.”

c.   
“Alexa,
pause the audiobook.”

d.  
“Alexa,
resume the audiobook.”

e.  
“Alexa,
go back 30 seconds.”

f.    
“Alexa,
go forward 2 minutes.”

5.   Controlling Playback Speed:

a.  
“Alexa,
play the audiobook faster.”

b.  
“Alexa,
play the audiobook slower.”

It’s
important to note that seniors may need assistance with setting up their
virtual assistant to play music and audiobooks, as well as learning the
specific commands for their preferred music or audiobook service. Additionally,
some music and audiobook services may require a subscription or additional
fees, so seniors should check the cost and availability of these services
before using them with their virtual assistant.
