Daily Looks: Week Ending 9.13.24

Accidentally, it looks like I had a majority of days in pants. But hey, they were all very lightweight pants since our days are still hot.

I think you would enjoy it if you signed up for the emails below. Besides the free eBook, my email family gets personal tidbits of what’s going on in my life along with other happenings, sales, information, giveaways, extra photos, and interesting articles.

Skirt: Zenana-Just Be Youtiful~~Top: Weston-Savers~~Sandals: Aerosoles-DSW

We are heading to a thrift store to pick up an item that we bid on at an auction. I was excited to wear this knit skirt I just picked up at Just Be Youtiful, and it’s the best casual skirt. It’s soft, and stretchy, and has a fun hemline, AND pockets. Seriously, this would be a fabulous Travel skirt.

Then I wore a colorful top with it (worn on the blog years ago). It’s one of those tops that has interesting details instead of just being a t-shirt. The neck has a trim around it, it has a bottom border, and slits on the side.

I added basic sandals for my footwear and then the wrap bracelet I also found at Just Be Youtiful made by a local woman.
I wore my cactus toppers on my glasses and these colorful “woman” earrings. All of those can be seen better in the title photo.

Dress: Lush-Your Revolving Closet~~Skirt: Pol-Just Be Youtiful~~Sneakers: no label

This was a fun dress from my Your Revolving Closet box and I love how it paired so fabulously with my new pearl studded white tulle skirt from Just Be Youtiful.

Since the back of the dress was open, I wore my body tape under it.

And the pearl decoration on the ties in the front is a clip-on earring.

These animal-print sneakers are ages old and I had to remove the sequins that were on the back of the ankle because they rubbed on my ankle too much.

Monday

Shorts: Kancan~~Overshirt: PaperMoon-Your Revolving Closet~~Booties: Sam Edelman-thriftted

I wanted to try this strapless top over another top, and since it seemed edgy, I figured the ankle boots worked fabulously. What do you think?

These booties are the ones I found thrifting a couple of months ago and they were new…had never been worn. I think I paid under $15 and I just LOVE them.

I styled these Bermuda shorts five different ways many years ago. They are a good length for an outfit like this.

Both tops are from my Your Revolving Closet box and while they aren’t meant to be worn together, I took it upon myself to try it. It takes away the need for a strapless bra.

After I took these photos, I added an animal print cuff bracelet for fun.

Tuesday

Pants: Aventura c/o~~Top: Old Navy-thrifted~~Sneakers: Converse-thrifted

It’s a Tai Chi day and thus I pulled out my Aventura linen pants. You can see that they shrunk just enough so that they are cropped as shown on their website.

And I paired them with this yellow-striped blouse I found on my most recent thrift adventure. It’s a size bigger than my usual as well as being a boyfriend silhouette. So I created the tie in the front, which is one of my favorite ways to wear a large button-down shirt.

I wore my light blue Converse sneakers that were thrifted this spring along with my new pair of Sheec socks that are fantastic. This new style from Sheec is bamboo (so very, very soft) and mesh (so they breathe). I bought 3 pairs and so did my husband and we are both twitterpated about them.

I wore my faux hair bun (which matches my hair fabulously). This is my second hair bun—the first one looked too fake and I returned it, but I’ve been impressed with this one. BTW, I ordered the color: Brown & Lt Blonde.

I even tied a scarf around the hair bun, but you don’t see it in my photo.

Wednesday

No photos because I woke up with a terrible headache and then a Charlie Horse.

Pants: Litz-Just Be Youtiful~~Top: Loft-thrifted~~Shoes: U-Lite-Poshmark

Who knew I would be such a fan of pants like this? I think one thing that makes them fabulous is because of the “overall” effect, you get a great proportion with the legs longer and shorter top.
Yet the “overalls” aren’t full frontal and even have a “v”.

Of course, I had to decorate the front with a bling pin.

The polka dot top is an oversized one I thrifted last year.

Rob calls these my clown shoes, but they are fun. They do not have much support, but for a day at home and a short grocery shopping trip, they were fine.

With all of the fun colors, I grabbed my raffia earrings that are still available on Amazon for under $10.

Friday

Daily Looks: Week Ending 9.13.24 &Raquo; Fri
Pants: Old Navy~~Top: Old Navy~~Sandals: Lauren Conrad-Kohls

Yep, we went shopping yesterday on the way to the grocery store. I was thinking I needed,(ha, now that’s a stretch, that I NEED any clothes), olive green pants. And I found this pair at Old Navy in the kid’s section.

But what I really fell in love with was this top. And not only is it still available on their website, it’s cheaper on the website. Unless you want the black-and-white version…that style is $17.

It’s cotton, soft, and totally comfy. I’m sure it will be on constant rotation since I love the pink and orange together.

Not surprisingly, I had sandals that matched and everything else was relatively simple.

Thank you
