Today’s observation recalls the lyrics to ‘Fly Away with Me.’ by Tom Walker:

To a place where we can be anyone we wanna be.’
Leadership is about empowering those following your lead and encouraging them to do their best. Collaborative efforts can broaden the thinking of those involved in the group, and sharing the findings empowers communities. The theme of ‘fly away with me’ is endless and powerful, and today’s observation enforces the emphasis of the point.
My Story
I sat in amazement upon witnessing a large flock of birds seemingly practicing flying together in multiple and varying types of circles. Upon completing one circle together, the group returned to their starting point to attempt a new kind of circle and made a variety of attempts numerous times. It was mesmerizing to watch. The thought was to capture a similar event for a creative film or Broadway play to inspire audiences. Most of all, the flock of birds was loudly broadcasting the power of cohesive teamwork.The theme of business arose next as competition can be fierce. Often, management will ridicule staff for poor output instead of encouraging improvements. What if taking another under one’s wings becomes routine? Can you imagine the circles you may fly around your competitors? When one is motivated to exchange ideas with others and share their results for all to benefit, a remarkable team is built and ready to fly forward.
Moreover, communication enhancement can be a positive game changer moving forward. Otherwise, should laziness take over and refuse to improve efforts of any type, results are minimal upfront and then slide downward, requiring the need to quit because the business is too costly. The old habits raise a familiar phrase by Einstein: Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.’
Management must encourage their staff to incorporate new strategies continually, test each individually, revise, and test again to ensure each one works. Practice is the name of the game. Entrepreneurs do best when they mirror the effort on their own terms. Moreover, team building and training, plus encouraging everyone to test new ideas as they appear, will promote loyalty and strengthen the bonds between all while attracting considerable attention from your audience for dynamic business Growth.
