Admittedly, it wasn’t until I was halfway through my career that someone shared an essential detail I had overlooked. By adding a target date for each goal, we confirm it, and the date gives added motivation to complete the task.

Embrace your unique identity as it becomes your brand. Ultimately, when done well, people will (believe it or not) ask permission to purchase from you.

Goal Setting for 2024 and Beyond

Begin with your vision of how you would like others to remember you; capture that thought to always keep with you. Next, begin working backward, starting with your future vision. Create the first yearly goal, followed by quarterly, monthly, and weekly goals. Ensure you set each goal with your future vision in mind.

Next, keep a running daily task list for efficiency as thoughts arrive. Doing so saves time attempting to recall what you wanted to do. Own who you are and the goals you want to achieve; never allow anyone to dissuade you.

  1. Welcome the worst.
  2.  ‘Our worst experiences are often ‘our gifts in disguise.’ 
  3. Learn from every person you encounter and every experience to realize the worst behind us and experience the best potential ahead.
  4. Weigh the pros and cons of surprising statements by asking specific questions for better understanding.
  5. As negativity comes your way, avoid anger, but in your private time, consider whether you are overlooking a detail to include and for success to follow.

Flexibility is an essential trait to embrace for moving forward. We are to realize not everything will perform to expectations. It’s vital to be flexible enough to either revamp our original idea or toss it aside to replace it with a potentially better strategy.
