SATURDAY

This was the idea behind the look from last week’s Wednesday look where I wore the red poncho.

This was inspired by Mireille’s outfit, in which she layered a blue sweater over this dress that we both have. If you get my emails, you saw her version.

The dress has those amazing sleeves that I showcased worn 7 different ways this summer.

And I layered black tights to keep warm, but wanted to bring in another color, so I wore these brown velvet flats (only $13 and even less with code COMFY10) and a brown scarf (held in place with a magnet).

SUNDAY

As I was trying on outfits, I came upon this crochet dress (worn for a winter wedding in 2017). It was just fitted enough that it wasn’t easy to pull over other dresses (and obviously I can’t wear it alone), so I decided to cut it up the front and made a kimono/duster of it.

The navy dress is also ages old from our first funeral outfit post in 2017.

I added color with my pink boots and this pink fuzzy scarf that I knitted when I worked with Lion Brand Yarns. Notice that I originally knitted it as a headband and that’s how I wear it when walking the dog. But it also works wonderfully as a scarf.

Extras:
Fuzzy earrings (everyone needs a pair)
-Blue statement glasses (use code JODIE35)

MONDAY

I wore these pants for the idea of different jackets to wear in winter in AZ, but they were dragging too much, so I finally shortened them.

I also wanted to put to use the idea of wearing leggings under thin pants, and since we are going to Yogalates, my leggings and sweatshirt are for that event.

I layered a blazer (from my working days) over my hoodie sweatshirt and used one of my headscarves as a scarf around my neck.

These sneakers are original Walking Cradles high-top sneakers.

TUESDAY

The entire outfit started with the socks…they are sheer (a birthday gift from my stepmom) and I thought I would layer them over black tights.

So I paired them with a denim dress.

I finally readapted this dress. Originally it had large flap pockets in the front which seemed too big and bulky.
So I removed them not realizing that the denim was so much darker underneath.

Therefore, I threw it in my alterations pile to add another fabric. This silk was leftover from a blouse that I loved but fell apart.

I layered a plaid blouse under it and pink Mary Janes as well as a pink beret.

While I don’t love the socks with this dress, I will try this idea again because I think the concept is good.

WEDNESDAY

I wanted to wear these new cords again and found this fabulous inspiration on Pinterest.

The combination of bright colors tickles my fancy.

Then I wore this men’s blazer with it (the blazer has been paired with a light pink skirt and green top in the past).

I included this pink hat (from Just Be Youtiful when she was having a sale…make sure to sign up for her emails to find out the deals of the week) and white sneakers.

FRIDAY

I went through 3 pairs of shoes before finding what I liked best.
Feel free to weigh in.
I hand-knit this sweater over 12 years ago and had never combined it with peach. Yet when I wore these peach jeans last year, I loved the blue with them, so I figured I’d do it again.
The title photo shows all of the necklaces with extras on them, as well as 2 earrings together (too bad my bright pink sports bra is also showing).
