My Toddler Won't Say Thank You or I'm Sorry. What do I do?
- My Toddler Won't Say Thank You or I'm Sorry. What do I do? Cara Tyrrell, M.Ed, Creator of The Collaborative Parenting Methodology 10:12
Do you wish your toddler had better manners?
In this episode I share some insight on why trying to force kids say to thank you or sorry when they are not ready is not beneficial. I discuss that kids need emotional permission to process their feelings and say thank you or sorry when they are ready. I also offer up scripts you can use with your toddlers to encourage them to use their manners, in their own time.
