Ideal #5 to Attain Better Work Life Balance

  1. Ideal #5 to Attain Better Work Life Balance Anne Bachrach 1:59

Today we are talking about Idea #5 of the 5 ideas to help you attain even better work life balance, which is to understand that the word “No” is powerful and is your friend!

Please learn to say “no” to work and life events that you simply don’t want to do, don’t have time to do, or that won’t forward your life or career goals. You don’t have to be mean about the “no.” You can say, “Thank you, but no. I just don’t have the time or bandwidth for this right now.” Remember, you can always say, YES, later, if you still want to do it.

Everyone has demands on life and work that compete with and overlap one another.  The way in which you deal with them will go a long way in helping you achieve that work life balance you seek. If you are trying to achieve a work life balance and are struggling with it, know that it’s not a one-and-done, a work life balance is a work in progress.

Over the past 5 days we have explored 5 ideas to help you attain even better work life balance.  Consider implementing one or more of these ideas if you need to have even better work life balance.

I’m curious and want to know if you feel you have achieved a good work life balance.  If so, do you have advice to offer my listeners that can help them have even better work life balance?
