Hurricane Milton put a tree through our roof and I styled it
Hurricane Milton put a tree through our roof in my kid’s room, among other things. The tree is still on our roof and hopefully will get removed soon so we can fix it all.
We spent all of yesterday cleaning up the debris thanks to a friend (reel coming up on that) who brought up a chainsaw, his muscles and a wheelbarrow to get rid of the huge branches of another tree in the backyard.
It could have been so much worse although we had to machete our way through fallen trees to get into the house.
To keep my spirits up I decided to have fun with the tree and styled it. I did more stuff (coming soon too 🥸) that kept me entertained in the middle of the crazy town that is the aftermath of a hurricane.
We have power in some parts of the house and hope all our friends without power get it back soon. We know what that’s like from prior hurricanes.
My heart goes out to everyone who has lost their homes and businesses.
