James Kiesewetter is a 22 year survivor of colon Cancer.  Longtime survivors in particular seem to have more "scars" than many current cancer patients and survivors. 

Why is that?  The evolution of the medical industry for one.  Also, the evolution of the cancer patient along with all of the current resources.  Long time survivors, by my observation, seem to have endured more procedures than today’s patients.

James is a fighter, and he advocated for himself back then, and today as well, which was fantastic!
