I'm Kate: a mix of poise and spunk, with a side dose of sensible sass. It means the world to me to leave people better than I found them. Be it encouraging words, a listening ear, a workout regime to feed the body, or learning the language where I visit at least enough to give a warm thank you.
With a background in the speed, energy, and attention to detail encompassing the performing world, mixed with a passion for interacting with people both in person and through the lens, I found a road paved to the hosting world.
I have worked as a host from the sports realm to Education… As a correspondent for SportsGuru, an instructional host for Townsend Press, and even commercial throws for the State Theatre of Pennsylvania’s live broadcast of the Freddy Awards. I am the creator and host of the weekly show and podcast, Be The Good with Kate, fka Some (More) Good News, shedding a light each week on people being the good in our world in some way, shape, or form.
My ideal is to share stories of people-- their own success stories, and stories of how they help their communities.
Additionally, I have been a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor in NYC for over a decade, my time spent with corporations, individual clients, and master classes. Virtually, I work with clients around the world. This translates to strong skills in teaching all different types of people, empathy, adaptability, and being the calm in any and all chaos. I love adding to my fitness and nutrition knowledge, educating people, and sharing in their joys of reaching goals.

Something I love about interviewing guests for Be The Good with Kate: the different ways guests describe concepts. Sophie Jacobs tackles the internal vs external factors that impact us each day, with a focus on INTUITION. And how NOT following our intuition can present itself in our bodies. Sophie quit a high-profile startup job to live at a Buddhist monastery, was ordained as a Buddhist Nun, then disrobed and went on to write a book about how to trust your inner knowing through a series of personal elemental essays. She now facilitates programs and coaches individuals on these topics. Prese…

Looking at someone who appears confident and successful, we often have no idea of the stories behind them. Or the horrors they may have endured to get to where they are today. Jennifer Ramirez has gone through things no one should ever have to encounter, yet how she moved through her past to build the work she does today is incredible. Not only has she created a nonprofit to help others, but she created one to help others going through similar traumas to her own, forcing her to revisit her past daily in order to help others move beyond theirs. Jennifer Ramirez is the Founder of the nonprofit o…
