Do You Recall the Past to Improve Upon Your Future?

Attract the Right Job or Clientele:

Do You Recall the Past to Improve Upon Your Future?

Throughout history, we have lived through good and bad times. The worst gets us down, while reflecting on the good can lift our spirits to move onward and improve future circumstances. Even better is being in good company with friends, networks, and groups with similar interests. Our hearts can dramatically lift while enjoying the time together.

My Story

A remarkable experience was mine upon agreeing to take a chance to attend a very low-priced outdoor rock ‘n roll concert provided by a young group born long after the popularity of the music. After being cooped up during the pandemic, it would be an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors!

The area’s beauty is breathtaking upon parking and hiking toward the concert. Wineries typically select locations in beautiful surroundings due to their industry and the need to attract a loyal clientele. Additionally, many will host shows and offer food service, too. It’s a wise business practice to add complementary features for a venue to provide clients services they appreciate and add income at the same time. The same holds coast-to-coast.

Excitement arrived in anticipation of hearing memorable 60’s music originally by groups such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Dave Clark Five. However, it was curious how younger people comprising today’s bands would be able to rise to the level of our fond memories. The first song answered the question, and we were affixed on each one following. Empowering the delivery, the group is from the U.K., with the British accent giving more power to the words as the audience recalled them.

Diversity and Inclusion

Surprisingly, there were people of all age groups enjoying the music together. But most admirable were the seniors who were fondly dancing in place throughout the concert! It confirms seniors have the mental capacity and energy to enjoy what is before them!

Returning to a work environment, thought for a moment; by allowing seniors to enjoy a job career with room for their unique creativity, younger generations can learn from their peers’ experiences and together generate a more dynamic program to extend business Growth.

Your Story: Recall the Past to Improve Upon Your Future

On the occasional days, you may feel doom and gloom or stuck without being able to advance; consider the following:

  • Attempt something new and different to increase hope and enthusiasm.
  • Intermix with people of varying generations and nationalities.
  • Enjoy the outdoors when the weather permits or socialize indoors as time permits.

As enthusiasm returns, schedule time to regularly reflect on why you were or may be down and how you may fix the situation. The work or job isn’t necessarily the answer. Sometimes it’s the people surrounding you, alongside a lack of appreciation. But the problem isn’t always everyone else’s fault; often, it is necessary to admit what one has allowed to ferment for too long to figure out the better remedy ahead.

In Conclusion: Recall the Past to Improve Upon Your Future

As we discover events, venues, and joyful activities, it helps to spread the word to those we believe may enjoy and benefit from the same. Typically, reciprocity will alert you to new happenings in your area. Although we strive to remain current and potentially ahead of the curve, it often helps to recall the past to improve our future.

Sales Tips: Recall the Past to Improve Upon Your Future

  1. A good practice is to realize what you ‘wish’ you could change, examine the why, and then create your unique path for achieving your desires.
  2. Lamenting about something missing from our lives resolves nothing; it’s best to take action to find the missing elements.
  3. Good friends, partners, and peers can help lighten our load; even better is to share a meal.
  4. Seek out people who enjoy having fun; laughter is the best medicine, as the proverb goes.
  5. Reserve time for hobbies as they allow your mind to roam free, piquing new ideas.
  6. Travel to new destinations to learn from others and possibly other cultures.
  7. Instead of remaining dedicated to your everyday thoughts, welcome diverse thinking to broaden your horizons.
  8. Set time aside to test its merit upon hearing something new and different.
  9. Should the new idea work well initially, determine how you may expand upon it.
  10. Celebrate Success!

Elinor Stutz International Best-Selling Author

Elinor Stutz broke through barriers long before doing so was popular. Against all the odds, she defied the theme “women can’t sell” to become the top producer at every company she ever worked for, ignoring attempts to get her to quit.

Eleven years later, I lay motionless on a stretcher with an irreparably broken neck. Two visions appearing before me, and a brilliant gold light encasing my entire body, gave me a reason to believe I would recover. I wholeheartedly knew I was about to empower audiences far and wide. At the moment, I negotiated a full recovery with the promise to be of service. The surgeon and hospital staff anointed me with the title “The Walking Miracle.”

As the CEO of Smooth Sale, Stutz adapted the motto, “Believe, Become, Empower.” Believe in yourself; Become the person you envision; Empower your audience to do the same. Stutz is on the Social Media Committee for Inclusion Allies Coalition devoted to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
