For those of us who were around during the 1980’s, the phrase: “Where Everyone Knows Your Name” brings to mind the show “Cheers,” as part of the phrase was in the show song lyric. This hit sitcom that aired from 1982 to 1993 was set in a bar that served as a haven where individuals from different walks of life could come together and feel accepted and supported. This sense of community and friendship is crucial as it highlights our human need for connection and the comfort of having a place where one is recognized and valued. The importance and value of developing those types of Relationships that provide support, loyalty, honesty and trust cannot be discounted.
