In this video, I dive into where I find my joy and the key difference between happiness and joy. While happiness is something we often chase and enjoy in fleeting moments, joy is a deeper, more enduring state of being. Happiness comes and goes, but joy can be cultivated and sustained, even during times of sorrow, struggle, Stress, or disappointment.
Tapping into joy, especially in the small things, exemplifies gratitude and draws us closer to ourselves and, for those who believe, closer to God. For me, that connection brings a deep sense of peace.
I find my joy in simple activities like walking in the woods, singing, dancing, exploring, and being silly. In this video, I talk about how reconnecting with the things I loved as a child helps me rediscover that joy now in my 40s.
Join me on this walk in one of my favorite spots—a trail in the woods near my home—where I sing a few songs, dance around, and skip with a playful spirit. It might seem a little silly or even cringeworthy at times, but this is what joy looks like for me, and I want to share it with all of you!
