Born into a prominent family in South India, Aria led a life of beauty, fashion, and success, working with global brands like Ralph Lauren, Armani, and Chanel.
Yet, the sudden loss of both her parents and a growing sense of emptiness pushed her toward a spiritual awakening, so gave up the glitz and glamour of the runway to embrace the monastic life as a Buddhist nun.
She completed an intensive three-and-a-half-year Tibetan Buddhist retreat and now dedicates her life to sharing the profound Wisdom of Vajrayana Buddhism.
Now, Lama Aria’s life of renunciation is creating ripples of positive change across communities, and her story of personal transformation continues to inspire countless spiritual seekers worldwide.
