Lieutenant General (LTG) Darrell K. Williams, United States Army (retired), is an extraordinary leader and the 13th President of Hampton University.

Since returning to his alma mater as President in 2022, the university has experienced a remarkable 31% increase in enrollment and an 84% retention rate for freshmen.
