#GRWM at 60 – makeup and hair

I have loved wearing makeup and doing my hair since I was in my teens in Spain. (Español abajo)

It was also standard for me to do it for any kind of gig (as a language interpreter, for dance gigs, I even wore makeup as a fitness instructor and of course at events and as a speaker).

Anyhow. Fast forward to 60 and I’m still at it.

I tagged as many brands as I could that I used here but my recent discoveries were @hudabeauty #fauxfilter color corrector in Cherry Blossom under my eyes and @onesize blurring setting powder in ultra pink – At 60 I just use a tad.

At my age and since as far as I can remember I also apply primer, foundation, setting powder and setting mist (I used @laurageller here and I also like All Nighter by @urbandecay).

I feel older women can look weird in pics and videos when they forget foundation on their neck and chest. And if they use a filter on their face boy is it going to look disconnected!

As for the hair my routine is something I have down to a science. I would wear a heat protectant glove if you’re not experienced at using curling wands.

What do you swear by at your age? For me it’s definitely matching my face with my neck and décolleté.
