1. Erika Cruz: From Doubtful to Chingona: How to Follow Your Calling J.R. Gonzales 56:51

Episode 85 – In this episode of Latino Business Report, Host J.R. Gonzales has in a probing conversation with Erika Cruz, a Latina who defies norms and stereotypes with her fearless attitude.

Erika chose to relinquish the seemingly perfect life she was leading to pursue her own desires, breaking away from societal expectations.

Erika, a rebel at heart, departed from a lucrative six-figure tech job to forge an unconventional path to success, driven by her passion and purpose.

As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, Erika worked tirelessly to validate her parents’ sacrifices, striving to achieve the American Dream. By the age of 25, she found herself working in the tech industry, traveling the world, earning a six-figure income, and engaged to be married. However, despite these accomplishments, she was not content—this was not her American Dream.

Erika took a bold step by calling off her engagement, resigning from her tech job, and redirecting her focus to creating self-development content on social media. Emerging as a thought leader in this space, she founded her Coaching business, Courage Driven Latina, and now generates an income exceeding a million dollars a year.
