In this episode of “Doing Business with a Servant's Heart,” host Steve Ramona interviews Tatiana, the new executive director of the Sunday Friends Foundation. The organization aims to lift families, primarily Latino and some Vietnamese, out of poverty through Education and economic empowerment. Tatiana emphasizes that many families face significant challenges as they navigate life in the U.S., often working multiple jobs yet still struggling to make ends meet. Sunday Friends provides a supportive community, hosting engaging activities and educational stations that focus on health equity, financial literacy, and family needs. Each Sunday, families participate in various sessions, from STEM education to Mental Health workshops, and receive personalized supplies and groceries to alleviate immediate needs. Tatiana also discusses initiatives to adapt the foundation's services to the evolving needs of long-term members and plans to launch an entrepreneurship program to help families develop their business ideas. The foundation seeks donations and support to continue its impactful work in the community, fostering dignity and opportunity for all families involved.
