About Jessica Yarmey:

Jessica has spent the last 25 years promoting and protecting global franchise brands such as Gold’s Gym, Club Pilates and Burger King. She built her first start-up, KickHouse from 0 to 30 locations before exiting to Mayweather Boxing + Fitness in 2022.

Currently, Jessica is launching a brand new fitness concept called FlexSociety as well as a marketing agency called SizzleSociety. The Legacy she’s writing is inspiring and encouraging others to pursue their passions and reach their potential through fitness as well as entrepreneurship.

Topics for today’s show:

  • Jessica Yarmey’s experience in promoting and protecting global franchise brands and building her own fitness startups
  • How a layoff from her dream job became a turning point that allowed Jessica to recommit to her passions and find success
  • The challenges of entrepreneurship and the importance of being prepared for a long journey filled with hard work and potential failure
  • Building trust and collaborating with others, especially when working with remote teams
  • The importance of self-awareness, delegating tasks based on skill sets, and providing clear instructions

Key Takeaways:

  • Entrepreneurs should be prepared for a long journey filled with challenges, hard work, and potential failure, but by staying committed to their vision, they can overcome obstacles.
  • To build trust and collaborate effectively with others, particularly with remote teams, one needs self-awareness, clear communication, and the ability to delegate tasks based on skill sets.
  • By focusing on your strengths and delegating tasks to others who can do them better and faster, you can help your business grow and operate at its highest frequency.
  • Enduring discomfort, such as during running or cold plunging, can build mental resilience that can be applied to work and life.

“Naysayers motivate me to prove them wrong.“

Phillip Bogolub Mentor of the Mind

Hello, my name is Phillip Bogolub. I have created a podcast show called, "Conscious Communication". The show was created from several experiences in my life but one central experience. I was an engineer traveling around the world supporting a medical device for over 25 years. During my travels I learned more about myself then I realized. Within this context I have pivoted in becoming and creating a philosophy called, "AJANOI" and out of that philosophy my "Conscious Communication" Podcast Show was born! I know you are asking, how do you say the word, "AJANOI" and what the heck does it mean? On that note, check out my podcast show, and I believe you will find the answers you seek. Empowering others empowers ourselves, that is what life is all about!
