Debbie’s Heartfelt Message about the Hidden Costs of Caregiving

Have you ever had to decide between your career and Caregiving? Debbie Compton knows this struggle all too well.

✨ 39% of caregivers leave their job to have more time to care for a loved one.

Debbie Compton was in upper-middle management, preparing for Retirement, when life changed dramatically. Her father developed Parkinson’s, her mother-in-law was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and her mother faced vascular dementia. Despite being the family’s primary breadwinner, Debbie made the choice to step away from her career to become a full-time caregiver.

The financial and emotional strain was immense, but Debbie found a way to focus on what mattered most—her family.

Tell me in the COMMENTS: Should caregiving mean giving up your career? 🕒

If you’re not quite ready for an advisor yet, I’ve put together a collection of FREE resources to guide you through the financial challenges of caregiving.

In honor of National Family Caregivers Month this November, I’m launching a social media campaign to raise awareness about the financial impact of caregiving. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing heartfelt stories from caregivers like me, who have faced similar challenges and discovered the importance of seeking support.

Together, we can shine a light on this often-overlooked issue and remind caregivers everywhere they’re not alone.

Thank you!
