March at the Greenwell Center: Advancing BioEnergetic Wellness for Everyday Living

March carries a quiet but powerful invitation. As the seasons begin to shift, we are reminded that renewal is not something we wait for—it is something we participate in. At the Greenwell Center, this time of year aligns beautifully with our ongoing commitment to whole-body wellness, Education, and conscious living through bioenergetic practices.

Central to this work is the Canadian Association of BioEnergetic Wellness (CanBeWell)—an organization that has been advancing awareness, education, and research in the field of bioenergetic wellness for decades. As Leadership Team President, I have had the honour of helping guide CanBeWell’s Growth and evolution, supporting initiatives that bridge science, research, lived experience, and accessible tools for everyday wellbeing.

Leading the Advancement of BioEnergetic Wellness

BioEnergetic Wellness recognizes that Health is not limited to symptoms or systems—it is an ongoing relationship between energy, body, mind, environment, and community. Through CanBeWell, we continue to spearhead conversations and educational pathways that:

  • Advance scientific and research-informed perspectives on energy-based wellness
  • Create accessible learning opportunities for practitioners and the public
  • Support mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing in daily life
  • Build global collaborations rooted in integrity, curiosity, and care

This leadership work is not about adding complexity—it is about empowerment. Empowering people with tools they can use in real time, in real life, to support resilience, Clarity, and vitality.

From Education to Embodiment

At the Greenwell Center, education meets experience. The tools shared through CanBeWell are brought to life through programs, retreats, and trainings that allow participants to feel the difference bioenergetic practices can make.

One such offering is Touch for Health, a foundational modality that teaches simple yet powerful techniques to support balance, reduce Stress, and enhance awareness of the body’s energetic communication. Touch for Health is often described as a gateway—opening the door to understanding how movement, intention, and gentle correction can restore harmony and support self-care in everyday living.

These practices are especially relevant in today’s fast-paced world, where many people are seeking grounded, evidence-informed approaches that reconnect them with their own internal Wisdom. Reach out to book your Level 1 class today! [email protected]

Retreats that Restore and Inspire

March is also a time to look ahead—to experiences that invite deeper immersion, reflection, and renewal.

With the Wine Country Tai Chi Society, Michelle will be offering the Tai Chi Wellness Retreat Mar 6 – 8. An excellent chance to explore the power of Tai Chi, while the weekend provides you with inspiration for wellbeing practices and the time to transform your health in the company of others who enjoy the power of movement to heal. You can find the full schedule here.

Sound Sessions with Ann-Marie Boudreau offer a profound opportunity to explore the therapeutic relationship between sound, vibration, and the nervous system. These sessions support rest, regulation, and reconnection, allowing participants to settle into a state where healing and insight can naturally emerge.

Later in the year, the Artfilled Wellness Retreat on Cape Breton Island offers an expansive eight-day journey into creativity, movement, music, nature, and bioenergetic awareness. Set against the stunning landscape of Cape Breton, this retreat weaves together art, frequency, story, and embodiment—inviting participants to explore wellness as a living, creative process rather than a fixed goal.

All three retreats reflect a core belief shared by CanBeWell and the Greenwell Center: wellness is experiential. It is cultivated through presence, participation, and meaningful connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the natural world.

Building Awareness, Community, and Choice

Through CanBeWell’s ongoing work—newsletters, events, collaborative projects, and educational programming—we continue to expand how people understand and engage with bioenergetic wellness. This includes raising awareness about Mental Health, workplace wellbeing, creative health practices, and the subtle yet powerful role energy plays in daily functioning.

As Leadership Team President, my role has been to help steward this vision forward—ensuring that education remains accessible, research-informed, and deeply human. Whether someone is new to these ideas or has been practicing for decades, there is always more to learn, explore, and integrate.
