Dr. Marianne Pinkston-Mueller is an integrative medicine and Family practice physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience in San Antonio, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University and UT Health Science Center San Antonio, and completed her residency through the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Practice Residency Program.
In her solo practice, Dr. Pinkston has cared for more than 40,000 patients, logged over 11,000 teaching hours, and serves as adjunct professor for 15 schools. She is Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of NuBloom Weight Loss Centers (mynubloom.com) and has served as medical director for multiple clinics, including PDLabs, Jim LaValle's LaValle Performance Health Center in Cedar Park, Texas, Serenity Med Spa in San Antonio, and Alliance Wound Care Services. At one point she ran three practice locations and owned a premier San Antonio med spa for two decades. Earlier in her career, she was accepted to a research position with NASA and its astronaut program before the program was discontinued in the 1990s.
Dr. Pinkston hosts The Better Life with Dr. Pinkston, a nationally and internationally distributed podcast aligned with Salem Media that has surpassed 20,000 subscribers. After six years as a radio talk show host in the San Antonio area, she now appears exclusively on her podcast and YouTube channel, and on SiriusXM's Healthy Choices Network. She has also launched Better Life TV, a YouTube network spotlighting like-minded podcasts and channels.
Her perspective on health is deeply personal. After being diagnosed with Diabetes, rheumatoid Arthritis, Cancer, and autoimmune hepatitis, Dr. Pinkston lost 180 pounds — dropping from 300 pounds to a sustained healthy weight — an experience that continues to shape her clinical philosophy and patient-centered approach. She is a proud mother of three children, all currently in college, and is recently married.
Dr. Pinkston has been repeatedly voted "Most Compassionate Doctor" and "Best Doctor" by patients and peers across multiple organizations. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Arthritis Foundation of Central and South Texas and as a board member of the Texas Kidney Foundation, the San Antonio Women's Chamber of Commerce, and the Global Pain Association. She is an editor with SA Monthly Magazine, 2Ten Sports Magazine, and LatinaX, a member of more than 11 professional organizations, and a sought-after speaker. She has also held president and vice president roles for several local school PTAs and extracurricular programs.
Dr. Pinkston is currently completing a fellowship in Integrative Medicine through A4M and the Morsani School of Medicine in partnership with George Washington University, working toward board certification in Longevity Medicine. She is also certified in hormone replacement, weight management, and stem cell and peptide therapies, and has several books in development.
