❤️I’m not an influencer but I AM a recommender. These are my lived experiences—the good, the bad and the mid (as the kids say).
⚡I’m woo-ifying this list with 7 things- for our 7 major chakras, of course.
Watched this with my younger daughter while she came back from flu b (brutal). Noah’s rise to fame, discussion of his Anxiety and Mental Health struggles helped Sloane and I talk about his constant pursuit of his music and confidence.
👉Reminder: No one has it easy, even if you sell out Fenway.
Ina’s story was shocking to me. Listening to the author on audible is how I get through mundane chores. Ina is a baddy, taking risks, switching jobs, saying no and living apart from Jeffery multiple times.
Note: Success means big life edits, often with big risk.
Action: This is not about talking, this is a time to DO.
4-Lainey Wilson’s Country Cool Documentary–
We are in 7th winter here and sports are winding down, I’m clearly watching a lot of tv while the wind whipt. I don’t even like country music! Lainey’s vision, hustle and grit ring supreme. She’s freezing her eggs, touring, writing. She lived in a trailer for 2 years!
💡Asterisks: Lainey’s work ethic is impeccable and never ending. There are no free lunches.
This song shook me open. Lake Street Dive performed Lyrics— “I will always be in Love with you in my memories when we were 25.” Price’s vocals are deep, shockingly so, helped me FINALLY de-romanticized living in San Francisco.
Exhale: I finally closed my West coast chapter. Message me for HOW and what this song did to open me wide open to the present.
Did you listen to my podcast with Nicole?
ISO accountability: Message me & let’s do a class LIVE together. classes linked on her Substack
Zero chemicals here folks. Been using a high frequency wand since I started getting facials in San Francisco (NEVER call it San Fran or you will sound like a loser.) Nora and I share this tool for scarring, bumps and find lines.
🎯Double Dip: two generations, one tool, HIGHLY recommend.
Heard around town: I ran into an high school friend’s mom today. I was lamenting about Travel volleyball, aren’t I always lamenting? She said, “I had 4 kids, they all competitively skied. I swear they didn’t eat a vegetable all winter, ever. They all survived and we are all fine.”
