Your wrists tend to be in the wrong position while you’re typing, especially if you keep your laptop in your lap. Standing while you type ensures the wrists remain at a natural 90-degree angle. Ideally, this should reduce the chances of getting carpal tunnel syndrome or nerve damage from typing in undesirable positions.
Improved Circulation
Humans, as a species, have always been on the move. Standing is a great way to strengthen your legs, core, and equilibrium. Long periods of sitting may cause blood flow to halt and pull in the legs.
