Each week, Superpowers for Good shares a list of new impact-related offerings added to FINRA-Registered Crowdfunding portals and by broker-dealers. We’ll share four separate lists:
Impact offerings determined by our proprietary analysis.
Offerings with minority founders.
Deals with women founders.
Those with LGBTQ founders.
Sometimes, it takes weeks for our source to determine that a company has a social impact, a woman, minority or LGBTQ founder. When we discover an offering qualifies for our list, even if it is no longer new, we will include it. See the lists below.
Each Friday, Devin will share his favorite impact investment opportunity from the list shared on Monday. Devin’s Impact Pick of the Week will be available only for the Impact Members of the SuperCrowd. You can join the Impact Members by subscribing to this monthly newsletter for just $5.95! Juice Life RVA is a recognized community hub, hosting events like ‘First Thursdays at the Juice Gallery’ and Zen & Juice rooftop Yoga, while also supporting local businesses and donating juice pulp to urban farmers. The business has gained national recognition, creating custom juices for visiting celebrities and being featured in an Apple TV production in 2022. Juice Life RVA is now revamping and enhancing its current space to better serve its growing customer base. The current crowdfunding campaign will support these expansion efforts, ensuring the business continues to thrive as a leader in health and wellness. (We use AI to help us write offerings summaries.)
The Mermaid Kitchen is raising funds on . The company specializes in fresh bagels and scratch cooking, using locally sourced ingredients to bring high-quality baked goods to farmers’ markets. Founder Lisa Jacobson, who ran a farm-to-fork café for over a decade, started The Mermaid Kitchen as a small-batch bagel popup during the pandemic. As the business grew, she expanded to farmers’ markets and secured a stall at the largest producer-only farmers’ market in the nation (DCFM.org). The Mermaid Kitchen also fosters community engagement by teaching scratch cooking, pickling, and meal prep classes. The current crowdfunding campaign will be used for working capital to build out a new space, upgrade transportation, and refinance debt. (We use AI to help us write offerings summaries.)
