SuperCrowd Minority Founders Offerings of the Week:
Jacu Coffee, recognized as one of the Top Ten Coffee Companies in 2024 by Food Business Review Magazine, is raising funds on Honeycomb Credit. The company has booked over $3 million in revenue in the first three months of 2024 and is profitable to date. Jacu Coffee provides roasters access to a curated library of over 200 top-tier green coffee beans, each with a fully traceable history. The first sales centers will open in Miami in November 2024, followed by London in March 2025. The global coffee market is expected to grow from $132 billion in 2023 to $166.4 billion by 2029, and Jacu Coffee is positioned to capitalize on this growth with its proven sales team, which has previously generated over $38 million in sales within three years.
The funds will be used to establish Jacu Coffee Inc, a new US entity, and open the first sales center and tasting studio in Miami. This facility will allow small roasters to sample high-end beans without extensive Travel or large purchases and offer coffee-tasting classes to the public, building a vibrant coffee community. The company has sold $20 million worth of daily-use nasal sticks since 2018, and it projects $8 million in revenue and 4,000 new Retail doors in 2024. BoomBoom products are available in major retailers like CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart, totaling over 13,000 doors. The company gained national visibility through a viral episode on Shark Tank (Season 10, Episode 4).
BoomBoom has created a new category in the stale $30+ billion global inhalation and nasal spray industry, offering a product with clean and simple ingredients designed for daily use, not just when you’re sick. Their nasal sticks come in multiple flavors/scents, each containing a proprietary blend of essential oils and menthol, providing an invigorating experience.
The proceeds will be used for product development, marketing, sales expansion, and further distribution. With 136,000+ followers on Instagram and TikTok, BoomBoom aims to become the next prominent everyday carry item, advocating for nasal breathing and helping people feel their best.
SuperCrowd LGBTQ Founders Offerings of the Week:
Midwest Sad, founded by Samantha in April 2024, is raising funds on Honeycomb Credit. Midwest Sad emphasizes community engagement and support by actively collaborating with local businesses such as Amilinda, Hot Dish Pantry, and 1033. Known for their inventive and ever-changing menu, Midwest Sad caters to diverse dietary preferences, including vegan and gluten-free options. The company has garnered significant attention from local media outlets like Urban Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Committed to ethical practices, Midwest Sad sources ingredients from local vendors to support the regional Economy and minimize carbon footprint.
Samantha envisions Midwest Sad transforming into a profit-sharing community kitchen hub by 2026. The funds raised will be utilized to bolster operational sustainability, ensuring staff receive a livable wage to foster employee satisfaction and retention. The investment will also enable seamless growth for client Relationships and contracts, ensuring uninterrupted service and expanding opportunities.
