Tim Tams are an iconic Australian biscuit known for their chocolate-coated layers and creamy filling. Created by Ian Norris in 1958, these biscuits quickly became a household name in Australia. They are celebrated annually on Tim Tam Day and have a unique consumption method called the "Tim Tam Slam," where you bite off opposite corners and use it as a straw to drink hot coffee or tea.
