Ep. 82: Escaping the "Shoulds" and Redesigning Your Life

  1. Ep. 82: Escaping the "Shoulds" and Redesigning Your Life Cheryl Fischer 37:47

This episode is a life-changer.  Amy Kemp joins Cheryl today to talk about the “should” energy we often use on ourselves.  I have to… I need to… I should… These are obligation statements coming from our subconscious beliefs about what life should look like.  How can we switch to, “I get to…,” or “I want to…”?  Amy shares a visual and a verbal method to interrupt our thought habits.

If we’re not going to “should on ourselves” then how can we make decisions in life? Try Amy’s triangle of key aspects of life: quality of life, paying you what you’re worth, and passion and purpose.  She walks us through exactly how to use these to make decisions that align with your boundaries around your goals and ambition.

And maybe my favorite part, we’re expanding this discussion into thoughts and energy around Money.  Amy is encouraging us to allow money to flow in and out, because when we do that, the flow can grow.  Cleaning up our obligation energy and thoughts around money is a powerful change.
