Life is an Experiment-Play the Game of Life with Curiosity | Jackie Scully
✔In this next installment of the Truth ∞ Peace Series, I want to explore how we can approach life as an experiment, with the mindset of a scientist. When we view life through this lens, it allows us to connect the scientific approach to life with a spiritual one, showing how values like curiosity, humility, and the embrace of failure intersect. Both science and spirituality encourage us to ask questions, to seek answers, and to accept that sometimes those answers may remain elusive. But that only drives us to keep asking more, peeling back even deeper layers.
Think of yourself as a scientist of life. Ask the big questions: "What is the meaning of life?" or "What do I want to be when I grow up?" Then, create a hypothesis: "If I do this, then this will happen." Gather data—through people, experiences, research, and moments—and examine it with discernment. Stay open and curious, assessing what serves you and what doesn’t. From there, you go back to the drawing board, dig a little deeper, and experiment again.
This method doesn’t dismiss the hard parts of life—the fear, sadness, disappointment, and frustration we all face. Rather, it helps us see that everything, even the difficult moments, is part of the ride. All of it matters. Every twist, every turn, every up and down.
So go out there and enjoy the ride. Embrace the experiment, and take every curve as an opportunity to learn, grow, and deepen your understanding of yourself and the world around you.
