The trio talked about the evolution of trust, especially as it relates to sales. They also shared insights and tips about developing trust with others and yourself.
Trust
– Larry: It is as simple as, Do you see me? Are you listening to me? Do you value me? Do you know something about me? And are you making me feel comfortable enough that I can open up and share what I call "my business secrets" with you?
– Barbara: I give others a chance first and let them prove otherwise
– Jim: It is your word, your bond. People rely on you
How to Develop Trust in Yourself
– Larry: Ask your friends and clients: What does trust look like?
– Barbara: Ask yourself questions: Would you would trust yourself? Did I handle that properly?
– Jim: Find people of the same mindsetÂ
Goals
– Jim: Record a 2 – 3 minute video of yourself telling what you do and upload it to LinkedIn
– Barbara: Look at yourself in the mirror, and be honest: do you think people will be able to trust you? If not, what do you need to change?
– Larry: Ask yourself every day: What do I want to known for?

– Larry: People would rather do business with those who sell from the heart
